Fast food chains are a little different in service and price, Popeye's in no different. The food is Great! You must remember, the object is to prepare quick and as cheap as possible. To accomplish this we must recruit cheap labor, keep the menu simple and keep the customers happy. Six of us went to Popeye's Sunday, the waiting time was longer than some of the patrons wanted. I was not unreasonable, this is what I expected, I was at a fast food establishment. once we received our food, we said grace and began to eat, the chicken was awesome as well as the Biscuits The rice was O. K. and the cold slaw was good, maybe some of the best I had.
Just before we finished the manager came over and offered us hot apple pies to compensate for the long wait. we just said GREAT and told her we were very satisfied. For a fast food we were very happy, I do love the HOT chicken, it is the BEST.
