Popwell's is a new addition to Kokomo, and a welcome addition according to most residents. This is not a Fish House like many had thought, it is however a Family Restaurant, fish can be found on the menu and buffet. The lunch buffet is quite good, my favorite is the weekend seafood, I love the fried oysters. The choice of many, including my wife is the fried fish. In my opinion the Sunday Lunch Buffet will fill the parking lot and the restaurant bring in the largest crowd. The Popwell's do their best to make the patrons coming from Church feel welcome. Their motto "Full Bellies and Smiling Faces".
I would like to see handicap parking for the disabled. The service is some of the best I have seen in this type of food provider, the price is GREAT for a small community restaurant.
